Circumstances of Disappearance:

Branson was last seen at approximately 3:00pm at his residence in the vicinity of the 300 block of W. Oak St. in Skidmore, MO. He left the residence on foot and indicated he was taking a pair of jumper cables to a shed that sat on a lot adjacent to the residence. It is unknown if he ever arrived.

Branson was last seen by his friend on April 11, 2001 at approximately 3:00 p.m. They were cleaning house for his father before he came home from the hospital. He told his friend he was putting jumper cables in the shed & would be right back. He has not been seen since. He left behind his van and personal belongings. The jumper cables weren't in the shed, but a few days later, they were placed there by an unknown person.

In 2003, Jack Wayne Rogers was arrested by police. A U.S. Justice Dept. affidavit includes Rogers' e-mails to a man in Alabama, in which acts of child torture and mutilation are depicted. In the e-mails, Rogers implicates himself in the abduction, rape and murder of Branson Kayne Perry. A police search of Rogers' property turned up a necklace possibly belonging to Branson although this was never proven. Rogers has denied killing Perry and has not been charged.

Branson's father passed away in March 2004; Branson was not heard from.
